AI in Medical Transcription & Coding: Job Threat or Opportunity?

AI is transforming into a "Digital Employee" in the Medical Transcription and Medical Coding The healthcare industry especially in medical transcription and medical coding are in a new phase in the world of healthcare jobs.  But can't AI be used by tech companies and chatbots? However, this is no longer true if you are employed in medical transcription, medical coding or another healthcare related position. Until the recent times, AI in healthcare would be limited to simple spell-check or voice-to-text tools. These days, Artificial Intelligence can listen to doctors' dictation and fill in the rest of the clinical notes, make suggestions for billing codes, identify missing documentation, and even cross-check with insurance requirements, all the way from beginning to end, a trained physician.  This doesn't indicate that these jobs are becoming extinct.
